This policy explains what personal data DivineXplore Infotech collects when you use Acadvista Academy, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Who is responsible for your data
DivineXplore Infotech, with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 513-L, Parsaram Chowk, Model Town, Yamuna Nagar, Haryana 135001, India, is responsible for the data described here. For any privacy question, write to privacy@academy.acadvista.in.
2. What we collect
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Name and email address | To create your account, give you access, and issue your certificate in the correct name |
| Payment reference and amount | To confirm your purchase, issue a receipt and process refunds. We never receive your card or bank details |
| Course progress and assessment results | To resume where you left off, unlock the test, and decide certificate eligibility |
| Certificate record | To operate the public verification page |
| Email address given for the free resource | To send the resource and, if you have agreed, occasional course emails |
| Technical and usage data | Basic analytics about pages visited, so we can improve the site and measure advertising |
| Support correspondence | To answer your question and keep a record of what was agreed |
We do not collect sensitive personal data, and we do not ask for identity documents.
3. Why we are allowed to process it
- To perform our contract with you: account, access, progress, certificate, receipts.
- With your consent: marketing email, which you can withdraw at any time.
- For our legitimate business interests: security, fraud prevention, and improving the service.
- To comply with law: tax and accounting records.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Google Firebase: authentication, database, file storage and hosting. Data is stored in the Mumbai region.
- Razorpay: payment processing. They handle your payment details directly; we receive only a reference and status.
- Brevo: transactional and marketing email delivery.
- YouTube: video hosting. Videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode.
- Google Analytics and Meta: measurement of website and advertising performance.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your email address with other course providers or advertisers.
5. Cookies and measurement
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, to remember your progress, and to measure how people arrive at the site. You can block cookies in your browser, though sign-in will not work without them.
6. Email you receive from us
Transactional email (payment receipt, enrolment confirmation, certificate, password reset) is part of the service and is sent to every learner.
Marketing email (new courses, offers, the free resource series) is sent only where you have given your email for that purpose. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your course access.
7. How long we keep it
- Account, enrolment and certificate records: while your account exists, and afterwards where needed to keep the certificate verifiable.
- Payment and invoice records: as long as tax law requires.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Support correspondence: up to three years.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate, including the name on your certificate.
- Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop sending you marketing email.
Write to privacy@academy.acadvista.in. We respond within 30 days. If you ask us to delete your account, any certificate you hold stops verifying, so tell us if you would like it to remain verifiable.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Course files are stored privately and delivered through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs. Access to production data is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take these obligations seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
10. Children
The service is intended for learners aged 18 and above. Where a learner is under 18, an account should be created and used with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its "last updated" date. Material changes are notified by email where we hold your address.
